Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop
Designer duo Meadham Kirchhoff aren’t the first catwalk heavyweights to partner with a highstreet staple, but are perhaps the first to bring their particular brand of bright and wonderful fashion to us mere mortals, almost completely un-diluted.
Meet the fourth Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop collection.
Featuring 80 whimsical, eye-wateringly bright and cheerfully romantic pieces, the whole collection centres around the fictional band The Cherrys. The four Cherrys – Cherry Cherie, Cherry Satanika, Cherry Pikka and Cherry Blossom – are rebels with their own signature styles. The looks were inspired by “Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, Kembra Pfahler and glam rock”, and feature chunky heels, faux fur, pleats, trims and ruffles.
You can choose which Cherry you are most like and create a whole look. From the off-the-wall Cherry Pikka to the rebellious Cherry Satanika, it’s full of textures, colour and bold statements. I love the 70s-inspired Cherry Cherie look in particular, but have a soft spot for the pastels and cuteness of Cherry Blossom. These looks can mix and match to create offbeat looks that scream Meadham Kirchhoff, but have that soft blend of Topshop to make them wearable for Saturday shopping… just.
The collection hit stores on 21st November to much excitement of fashionable types all over.
It might have sold out in most spots, but you can still shop the collection here.
