Nails: Going Green

Green, Nails, Rimmel, 17I have a bit of a thing for painting my nails. I am trying to grow them, and have a bad habit of chewing, so have taken to painting them to stop me. Which means my nail varnish collection is growing exponentially. I love intense colours, and with it being so cold out, I could hardly choose a bright Summery colour – I have a range of greens and felt it was a nice mix of a cheerful colour without being too bright.

And since I normally go with plain, straightforward colours, I thought I would start to branch out and experiment with my nail art.

For this look, I used Rimmel Lycra Pro in 520 Camouflage Chic as a base. Once it had dried, I angled some paper over the nail and painted the exposed bit of nail with 17 Fast Finish in Potion.

I’ve been using Rimmel’s Nail Nurse as a base and top coat and it’s done wonders for my nails – plus gives that lovely gloss over the top.

What do you think!?
