Beauty Review: Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-Lasting Eyeshadow

Rouge Bunny Rouge, Eyeshadow, Beauty, Make-upSometimes I want a bit more to my make-up than plain old black eye liner and a smear of foundation. I had this gorgeous Rouge Bunny Rouge eyeshadow as a freebie in a blogger goody bag from a while ago, and had never really thought about it until recently.

The Long-lasting When Birds Are Singing… eyeshadow, £20.21 each, is a gorgeous creamy, iridescent and lightweight shadow that really does last as long as it promises. This frosted coral pink is named “Tantalizing Lovebird” and contains Flavanoid to improve blood microcirculation, enhance luminosity and works as a “free radicals scavenger”.

I love the packaging, with the extra flourish of the logo printed on the shadow itself. It’s so sweet you almost don’t want to use it! And the pigment is so good, you barely need to use any to get good coverage.

To get this look, I have dabbed No7’s Stay Perfect Smoothing Eyeshadow in Pewter Shine (£8) in the inner corner of my eye and blended out. I then used a damp brush to layer Tantalizing Lovebird from the outer edges to the inner, making sure to blend thoroughly.

To finish, I used my usual Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner (£7.99) to create definition, and No7 Intense Volume Waterproof Mascara (£9.50). To lift under my eye I’ve dabbed more Pewter Shine right against my lash line.
