Cocktail Bar: Poinsettia
What could be more festive than a champagne cocktail!? This is one of my favourites – the blend of Cointreau and cranberry juice makes it Christmassy and oh-so yummy. Meet the Poinsettia. You could give it an extra kick with tequila or vodka, but this is a lush cocktail perfect as-is, just enough for those Christmas parties this weekend!
You will need:
- A chilled champagne flute
- A sturdy hand to pop the champage cork!
- 15ml Cointreau
- 90ml cranberry juice
How to make it:
Pour the Cointreau and cranberry juice in to the chilled champagne flute and stir thoroughly. Top it up with champagne – be careful of the fizz! If you want to be super-festive, garnish with some frozen cranberries.
