Beauty Review: Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Cleanser

Before Christmas, I might have treated myself to the Soap & Glory Yule Monty gift set, which was down from £60 to just £27 in Boots!

I’m a complete sucker for Soap & Glory, and swear by their Hand Food to rescue my sorry paws.

I hadn’t actually tried a lot of the products that came in the gift set, so have been merrily indulging in them all. One of the genius products I’ve discovered as a result is the Peaches and Clean 3-in-1 wash-off deep purifying cleanser (RRP £8).

This clever little bottle with its easy-to-use pump contains Soap & Glory’s Oxyginseng technology – which “helps increase circulation and cell respiration (which then turns up blood supply and toxin removal), and also speeds oxygen and nutrient delivery to fight aging and re-energise skin” – peach and goji berry extracts, and quillaja bark (a Chilean soap bark which is renowned for being a natural cleansing agent).

It smells absolutely delicious – full of sweet peaches and refreshing goji – and glides on smoothly. As you work it in to your skin it foams slightly, and washes off to leave your skin feeling gloriously plumped and smoothed (and not too taught and dry as some cleansers do).

I tend to use it daily in the shower; letting my pores open from the heat and then taking time to really work it in with my fingertips. I wash it off and then splash my face with cool water at the end to close up my pores again. Although it’s not too drying, I do find that I have to use a really light daily moisturiser on my Winter-damaged skin (at the moment, I spritz a bit of The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Face Mist as my skin is quite sensitive to anything stronger).

This little miracle product makes my skin looks brighter and feels plumper, and it’s even contributing to clearing up any breakouts I’ve been suffering from! I’ve been using it every day (sometimes twice a day) since mid-December and have only just started to make an obvious dent. Definitely worth the pennies!

It’s really helped my skin too – it took a few weeks of using it constantly but I can definitely see an improvement!
