Nails: Essie Merino Cool
I have been dying to get my hands on some Essie polishes for a while now (and the Seche Vite topcoat that every blogger under the sun raves about). So when mooching about Boots the other day, I at last managed to grab myself two shades – Merino Cool and Midnight Cami (£7.99 each).
I wanted a deep blue, hence Midnight Cami; but I couldn’t resist the taupe of Merino Cool. It’s a delicious purple-brown mulberry colour (depending on the light) with a glossy tone. You need one thick layer or two thin ones to get the best effect, but it dries super-quick, and with a slick of Seche Vite on top, it lasts for at least four days before chipping.
It might be an autumnal shade but I think this is a colour that will see me through to Spring.
