Cocktail Bar: White Russian

This cocktail has to be one of the more famous in the world, and although I don’t generally go in for creamy or milky cocktails, I often can’t resist a good White Russian. So if you’re like me and fancy something a little different from the usual fruit and fizz cocktails, here’s how to do it…

You will need:

  • Old-fashioned glass
  • Ice cubes

White Russian, Alcohol, Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 50ml vodka
  • 25ml coffee liqueur
  • Light cream/thick milk

How to make it:

Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur over the ice cubes and then top up with your light cream. As I didn’t have a lot of cream, I used semi-skimmed milk and added a dash of cream to thicken. The trick is to make sure it’s quite thick and rich, so use full-fat milk if you’d rather not go the whole stretch.
