Beauty Review: Soap & Glory Heel Genius

It’s this time of year that I dread when it comes to footwear. The weather warms up, and the flipflops come out. Okay, so I don’t wear flipflops myself (it’s the most annoying sound in the world), but you know what I mean – sandals, gladiator flats, peep-toes… the feet are on display.

I don’t know about you, but a winter of hiding in boots means my poor toes aren’t in the best of conditions. The moment the temperature starts hitting the 20s, I get out the pedicure, and slap some bright polish on to cheer them up. But more worryingly than that is the state of my feet. Dry, cracked, generally sad-looking, my feet always need some TLC. Which is where the Soap & Glory Heel Genius (£5.50 RRP) comes in handy. This gorgeous foot cream not only massages in to hard, cracked skin, but doubles up to combat rough cuticles.

Slightly minty in smell, like most foot creams, it’s not overpowering, and soaks in fast (but don’t try to walk too much because you slip up!) The texture isn’t too thick either; rub small amounts in to the worst areas, pop on some pedi socks (or normal cotton socks will do) and let it all absorb. Within weeks I have noticed a difference, and can’t look back – I’ve never been happier showing off my feet!
