I constantly suffer from breakouts and acne. This leaves me with plenty to cover up, and I’ve spent years experimenting with foundations, concealers and skincare. The battle is still ongoing, but one of the best concealers I’ve ever found is Benefit’s Erase Paste, £20.50. The cute pot comes with a handy spatula to allow for perfect application. Simply scoop a tiny amount on to the spatula and dab on to the problem areas before blending.

Erase Paste promises to get rid of dark circles, discolouration and imperfections, and comes in 3 shades. I use fair, with is perhaps a tiny bit pale for my skin, but blended with a foundation it’s perfect.

I use it to cover blemishes and dark circles, but if you want some tips as a first-time user, it does come with a little “lesson” booklet that tells you how to apply for your needs. I find if you blend with your ring finger you get a much better application – your ring finger isn’t as strong as your other fingers and so is the gentlest.
