Cocktail Bar: Clementinis
This week is for sharing. Grab those bags of clementines that have been lying around, a handful of friends, and make up a batch of scrummy clementinis.
You will need:
- Knife and chopping board
- Martini/champagne glasses
- 6 clementines, plus 2 for garnishes
- 100ml vodka
- 100ml Cointreau
- 1 bottle Prosecco (you can also use Cava or champagne)
How to make it:
Chill your glasses, and then in the jug, mix together the juice of the clementines, vodka and Cointreau, then chill for an hour (or even better – a day).
Slice your spare clementines in to thin strips and add to the glasses. Then fill each glass almost halfway with the jug mix. Pop the cork on the Prosecco and top up each glass.
These are a great way to get rid of the last of those pesky Christmas clementines, and feel celebratory whilst doing it! The vodka adds a nice kick to this fizzy treat. It should serve about 10, so don’t forget to invite your friends!
