Welcome back to week seventeen of my Marathon Series, as I blog my way to a marathon – from beginner to 26.2 miles. This week, we’re talking about finding fitness inspiration.

Sometimes you find it hard to get motivated. Sometimes you just can’t get out that door for a run, no matter how many speeches you give yourself. Sometimes, you just need someone else to get you motivated. So here are some of the best places to find inspiration online…

UK Run Chat

This online community hosts Twitter chats, shares tips and tricks and cheers each other on. Pick Team Red or Team Blue and join in on the hashtag #UKRunChat.

Naturally Leah

This girl cannot stop running! She’s about to take on the London Marathon, and posts every training picture with a smile.  Plus, if you live in London, you can join her each week for a run down the Thames. You can follow her on her blog and Twitter.

Bangs and a Bun

Another total inspiration, Bangs runs at 5am, then hosts classes at Boom Cycle and doesn’t even break a sweat. She’s an absolute machine, and bloody lovely on Twitter.

Carly Rowena

Personal Trainer and fitness blogger Carly is a yoga fiend and knows exactly the right food to eat to be super fit and healthy. And she’s another one who is just SO NICE on Twitter!

Who inspires you when you’re trying to get motivated?

Don’t forget to let me know how you’re getting on, using the hashtag #HoBFitness. And check back soon, when we’re talking about taking on a marathon for real.
