Every year, the wonderful Scarlett London hosts #BloggersFestival, a meet-up of huge proportions, filled with bloggers, brands and prosecco. I always love these events – meeting new and well-known bloggers and getting to chat to brands about their products.

Jewellerybox.co.uk, Jewellery, #BloggersFestival, Dinosaurs

This year, the event was hosted at the smart Conrad London in St James. I met up with Laura from Laura Cinnamon beforehand and we were greeted with prosecco on our way in before we started browsing brands… First up was jewellerybox.co.uk, offering delicate and beautiful sterling silver jewellery at affordable prices. I instantly fell in love with everything there – from the infinity rings and arrow necklaces, to the thunder-and-lightening bracelets. But, hands down, my absolute favourites were their dinosaur necklaces (and the unicorn, of course). On thin 18-inch chains, these sterling silver dinos start at £9.50 for a pterodactyl to £23 for the brontosaurus. And I want them all!

They even gave us a little goodie box – I waited until home until opening it and was delighted with my arrow ring and wishbone necklace! Exclusively online for now, they do have a pop up shop coming to Brixton for two weeks – it opens tomorrow, so get there quickly. I was really in love with these guys, and kept coming back to the stand, especially because it was made to look like an enchanted forest, and who doesn’t want to pretend they’re in an enchanted forest!

SimplyBe, Fashion, Brand, #BloggersFestival

Other brands there included Bravura (skincare), The Perfume Shop, SimplyBe, bareMinerals, Bon Prix (where I won a goodie bag with a very fetching bobble hat, perfect for winter), and Nanshy, plus a brow bar. There was plenty to do!

Bee Good, Beauty, Natural, #BloggersFestival, Honey, Bees

I was particularly taken with Bee Good, who I’d met last year, and their new ranges. Made with honey from their very own bees, these all-natural products are not only perfectly priced, but amazing on your skin! I’m hooked on their lip balms and can’t wait to give their face washes a go.

Taisir Gibreel, Fashion, Scarves, Silk, Scotland, #BloggersFestival

Taisir Gibreel

I was impressed with the guys at Grace Foods, who offered up samples of their marinades, juices, and protein shakes that I have totally fallen in love with, and the stunning designs from Taisir Gibreel, whose scarves are inspired by Scotland and influenced by her Sudanese roots.

I also totally fell for yoogaia, a yoga app whereby you get interactive yoga classes straight to your own home… yes please! With a yoga instructor just at the other end of the webcam, you get a fully interactive yoga class, without ever leaving your house. Too much love (and you’ll be hearing more about these guys in an upcoming blog post).

We also had a chance to speak to Mode Media, who represent bloggers including Zoella and In the Frow. It was the perfect chance to talk to them about the blog as a brand (and potential business!) and how you can turn your passion in to something more. I love this blog with all my heart, and the idea that one day I could do it full time would be amazing, and it’s nice to hear from people who can make it happen.

Bloggers, #BloggersFestival

I also had the special privilege of meeting Holly of City and Sparkle and Laura of Cherry Soda blog on the day, and spotting Bec (Boop Fashionista), Courtney (courtzmelv), Tania (When Tania Talks) and Angelica (One Little Vice) too. The nicest thing about these events is really just hanging out with the brilliant bloggers I get to meet. I definitely recommend checking out their blogs!
