Short of something to do this Autumn? Here are five of the best theatre acts out there…

Theatre, London, Autumn, wonder.land, National Theatre

Damon Albarn’s musical take on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, with musical collaboration from Rufus Norris. Twelve-year-old Aly finds her way on to online world wonder.land where she meets Alice and some rather strange characters.

wonder.land is at the National Theatre from 23rd November 2015 to 28th February 2016

Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Theatre, London, Autumn, Donmar

Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Love Dominic West? See him in Les Liaisons Dangereuses as French aristocat and seducer in this reimagining of Choderlos Le Laclos’ novel of the same name.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses is at the Donmar from 11th December 2015 to 13th February 2016

Kinky Boots, London, Theatre, Autumn, Adelphi Theatre

Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots is coming! First appearing as a 2005 film, Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein are bringing the Broadway musical to the West End – complete with spangles.

Kinky Boots is at the Adelphi Theatre from 28th September 2015 to 6th February 2016

Richard II, Theatre, London, Autumn, The Globe, Shakespeare

Richard II

Catch it quick, but if there’s one thing I recommend I always encourage people to catch a play at The Globe. Richard II is running for a little while, and is famously tragic.

Richard II is at the Globe Theatre until 18th October 2015

The Play that Goes Wrong, Theatre, London, Autumn, Duchess Theatre

The Play that Goes Wrong

Nominated for an Olivier Award, this laugh-out-loud play tells the story of the hopeless Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society as they attempt to put on a 1920s murder mystery play in the West End. Expect genuine belly-laughs.

The Play that Goes Wrong is at the Duchess Theatre until 14th February 2016
