#HoBFitness: Home Workouts
Sometimes it’s simply too much effort to leave the house to go to the gym or to go for a run. But that’s no excuse to give up on a workout. Here are my five favourite workouts to do in the comfort of your own home…
All you need is a yoga mat and a YouTube tutorial. The workout can be as short or as long as you like, and as intense or gentle as you like. Try out Yoogaia for some great sessions.
Good news – Tiger sell 4kg kettlebells, so they’re really easy to get a hold of. Kettlebells are a great workout – check out YouTube for tutorials – and my particular favourite is the kettlebell swing.
This is the simplest High Intensity Interval Training workout ever. You don’t even technically need trainers. Just a spot to run on!
The Body Coach’s Ab Blaster
Just five minutes to spare? Use Joe Wicks’ abs blaster workout for a quick session to up the heartrate, without the need for equipment or leaving the house.
Resistance bands are another bit of equipment I really recommend having at home. They are great for strength training and rehabilitation. If you’re a beginner, this body sculpting workout is perfect to get a feel for resistance bands.
