The Litterati, Shrapnel Theatre, Isla van Tricht, Kate Tiernan, Play

As we rapidly approach the final weekend of January, it’s time to spoil yourself. There’s plenty going on, including Chinese New Year and various Burns Night celebrations. But one of the things that I’m most looking forward to is The Litterati, a play that centres around the character of Millie as she uncovers the underground world of the Litterati and all that it entails…

Living with her girlfriend Hattie, Millie is desperate to become a serious journalist at VICE. And she finally gets her chance, when she is told to write an investigatory piece about the Litterati, a notorious and secretive community. So Millie agrees to spend a week with the gang, but her world is blown apart when she discovers experiences and people she can never forget.

This play is full of hedonism, riots, and human potential. Written by Isla van Tricht and directed by Kate Tiernan, this is van Tricht’s third outing at Shrapnel Theatre and is running until this Sunday, with limited 2-for-1 tickets. Prices start at £15.
