Raspberry Nut Smoothie

There is a distinct crispness to the air this week – with September fully underway and promising a chilly autumn. But I am still in summer mode, and that means a sweet, fresh smoothie for breakfast instead of warming porridge. I love this quick and simple recipe for a raspberry nut smoothie. It even keeps overnight if you want to prep the evening before!

You will need:

  • Blender
  • Cup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp honey

How to make it:

Simply blend all the ingredients together and serve. The sharpness of the raspberries is offset by the honey and the almond butter gives it a delicious nutty taste. This is great for on-the-go breakfasts as it’s super filling.
